Dizu Driver Registration Policy
Applicable To: All individuals or businesses seeking to register as delivery drivers ("Driver(s)") on the Dizu platform, owned and operated by Dizu Xpress Limited.
1. Introduction
This Driver Registration Policy ("Policy") sets forth the criteria, obligations, and standards that must be met by individuals or entities seeking to register as Drivers on Dizu Dispatch App. By applying for registration, you agree to comply fully with this Policy, as well as the general Dizu Xpress Limited Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for registration as a Dizu Driver, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Age Requirement: Be at least 18 years of age.
Legal Authorization: Possess the legal right to work and operate in the jurisdiction where services are provided.
Valid Driving License: Hold a current and valid driver's license for the class of vehicle to be operated.
Vehicle Ownership/Access: Own or have authorized access to a legally registered and insured vehicle suitable for deliveries.
Insurance Coverage: Maintain adequate vehicle insurance based on local regulatory requirements.
Background Check: Consent to and successfully pass criminal background checks, driving history reviews, and identity verification.
Health and Safety: Be physically capable of performing delivery tasks and comply with all health and safety standards.
Mobile Device Access: Own a smartphone capable of running the Dizu Dispatch App with reliable internet access.
3. Application Process
Drivers must complete the following steps for registration:
Online Application: Complete the Dizu Driver registration form accurately and in full.
Document Submission: Upload or present the following documents:
Valid government-issued photo ID.
Valid driver's license.
Vehicle registration certificate.
Proof of vehicle insurance.
Proof of address.
Recent passport-sized photograph.
Company Incorporation Document (CAC)
Background Verification: Consent to all required background screening procedures.
Training/Orientation: Complete any mandatory orientation or training sessions as required by Dizu Xpress Limited.
Dizu Xpress Limited reserves the right to reject any application at its sole discretion without providing a reason.
4. Obligations of Registered Drivers
Upon approval, Drivers must adhere to the following obligations:
Compliance with Laws: Obey all traffic laws, safety regulations, and local delivery requirements.
Professional Conduct: Maintain courteous, professional behavior towards customers, vendors, and Dizu Xpress Limited staff.
Service Standards: Meet delivery deadlines, handle goods responsibly, and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
Data Protection: Respect customer confidentiality and safeguard personal data accessed during deliveries.
App Usage: Keep the Dizu Dispatch App updated and properly use it for receiving orders and tracking deliveries.
Vehicle Standards: Keep vehicles clean, well-maintained, and operational at all times during service.
Uniform/Identification: Wear any Dizu-provided identification or branding material if mandated.
5. Grounds for Suspension or Termination
Drivers may have their registration suspended or terminated for any of the following reasons:
Violation of any Dizu Xpress Limited policy, including the Driver Code of Conduct.
Failure to maintain valid documentation (license, insurance, etc.).
Unsafe driving practices or repeated customer complaints.
Fraudulent activity, theft, or misuse of the platform.
Failure to complete assigned deliveries without valid justification.
Engaging in illegal activities while associated with Dizu.
Misrepresentation of information during registration.
6. Updates and Revalidation
Drivers are required to:
Regularly update their documentation as necessary (e.g., renew driver's license or insurance).
Undergo periodic background checks and revalidation processes as determined by Dizu Xpress Limited.
Complete refresher training sessions as mandated.
Failure to comply with update requests may result in suspension or deactivation of the driver account.
7. Independent Contractor Status
Drivers registered with Dizu shall operate strictly as independent contractors.
Nothing in this Policy or the overall agreement shall be construed to create an employment relationship, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between Dizu and the Driver.
Drivers shall be solely responsible for:
Payment of all applicable taxes and statutory contributions.
Vehicle maintenance and operating expenses.
Procuring necessary permits or licenses beyond those required for registration.
8. Indemnification
Drivers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dizu Xpress Limited, its affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of:
Breach of this Policy.
Negligent, reckless, or intentional acts while performing deliveries.
Violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.
